Zander One - Echoate download free

This album is one of the most moving dub/ambient techno releases I've heard in quite a while. It strays from the usual dubtech formula to include elements of chill and downtempo, without any of the cheese sometimes associated with those styles. Overall this is emotional music, full of haunting melodies drenched in reverb and dubby delay, so I would recommend it to any fan of the aforementioned genres -- especially since the 8-track version is free! (The physical version is well worth having for the bonus tracks, though, including the excellent "Coppice Halifax Blue Shape Three" remix of "Iceberg".) I'll be looking forward to hearing more work by the heretofore unknown Zander One.
