This reissue CD contains the complete 1960 Charles Mingus album ‘Mingus Revisited’ (originally on Limelight, then issued as ‘Pre-Bird’ on Mercury) featuring an all-star group. Added, as a bonus, is the complete album ‘Mingus in Wonderland’ (originally United Artists), recorded by a Charles Mingus Quintet live at New York’s Nonagon Jazz Gallery in 1959.
