In Jan, Feb and March of 2013 Cactus Knife recorded 11 songs at Brock n Broll recording studio, all to an 8 track reel to reel tape machine. Then all the material was forgotten about until February 2014 when it was decided that the album should be finished and released.
The 11 tracks have been split up into 2 EP's that will be released on bandcamp (for free or name your price) roughly a month and a half apart from each other. The 1st of the EPs will be released on March 26th. The songs can be downloaded from this page if you want to keep any or all of them.
The EP's are an extremely honest and natural representation of the band, they were recorded almost exclusively live (with very few overdubs) and very few microphones.
